Malaysia Airlines Engineering Training Center (METC)

Atlast , after few months of waiting , i finally entered METC . It has been long since i updated this blog thingy. So lemme tell you what happened from the start. I was actually waited the whole day for the offer letter. Because the guy that interviewed me said that ill be notified if i was chosen on 20th of december. After hours of waiting , suddenly i got an email.

I was accepted to their course. I was so freaking happy . It feels so good when you are a step closer to the thing you always dreamt of.This just one of the happiest moment in my life. Then i went for medicals and payed the deposit n stuffs. After doing all that , i wait for their call. Then i got an email that i need to report in at METC on 17th january . Damn i was sooo excited. I bought new shoes ,new white shirts n even a new neck tie. feels like going back to school again.haha.Soon after that , the day actually arrives . Went there early in the morning . Sharp at 7 in the morning. At first it was kindda awkward because i am quite short there *damn* and everyone was soo tall n huge. But i get used to it anyway.hee. I found that METC is not like those colleges and universities . We need to wear uniforms , neckties , and even our shoes must be in leather. We can't go anywhere alone. Need to be in a group of 4. We can't use hand phones. We even have military drill here! But what i love the most is that we get access on restricted areas . We get to enter private jets. We even get to go inside a B737-400 that is on maintenance.

Oh yeah i forgot to tell you what course i am taking. I am now a trainee aircraft maintenance engineer (TAME) . I am now undergoing Category A ( Junior Technician) . After I passed that ill be doing Category B whether in B1.1 or B2. I prefer B2 even though the studies are more tougher.Ill be taking avionics. Soon after that , ill be finishing all the assesment. Those assesment will be sent to DCA and ill get my licence after that. Oh n yeah, ill be doing 2 years of On job training before i get the licence. Duration of this course ? it depends on how good i am. If i'm very good , ill be finising in 3 and a half years. If i don't it might get till 5 years. So i work. I train . And i study right now. I love it :)

So pray for my success there alright?

Karam Singh Walia Apology

I saw a post on Facebook by someone i know on Karam Singh Walia's appology.The moment i open that video , those people surrounding him simply touched my nerve although I have the same race as they are.Don't they thought of what Karam Singh Walia had done all these days? He is the so called " Hero of the environment " in Malaysia/ These people i can easily label them as UNCIVILISED people.Oh come on! What on earth do you get with rudely asking him an apology ? Just because you are using rude voices does it makes you look good? NO! You simply prove on what he said! The video is now spread all over the internet. What will other races think of us? Don't you think of it?

I can simply see that these people are uneducated and not to mention how they think.

You can see the mindset of an educated and uneducated nations. Oh i don't even need to mention which race has the most uneducated peoples in Malaysia. Statistics proves it already. Come on people! Wake UP! Although i know what Karam Singh Walia said was ridiculous you must investigate first. He told such statement because he was drunk. We can't even drive when we're drunk because we can't think wisely and so do him.Why can't you guys ask him an appology politely? I'm a Malay and I am completely ashamed of what you people did. Theres no need to shame anyone and create chaos , and they fact they also asked him to pay for their drinks makes them just low. Seriously guys, being unruly, rude and behaving like kids are no way to solve a problem. In fact, I look down on these ‘merry men’ because of their actions which I personally deem as being ‘overly sensitive’ and uncivilized ! With that said, I must stress that I do not condone such words by Karam Singh Walia, BUT I feel that the mob’s attack was far worse than what Karam Singh Walia said because they actually proved that what Karam Singh Walia said when he was drunk was true, at least for those bunch of guys.As for all the races in Malaysia, I have these words: “We are all born with our own ability, but our actions will dictate how others will look at them.“ Don’t be like the uncivilized people below. I believe they painted a very bad picture of their race, despite the fact that we all know and can easily name some very smart and influential Malays around us, such as Tun Mahathir himself.
